Introduction
I have written this book because I have a duty to do so. I have been silent long enough. Silence, you see, is expected from abuse victims. The aim of this book is to contribute to the growing knowledge of child abuse. It is an unashamedly subjective account of the ten years of my life starting at age five and ending at age fifteen. It tells of how my own experience of abuse led to me becoming a boy prostitute.
I offer no interpretations. Instead, I offer you the facts as subjectively experienced at the time. I leave it to you to explore any inherent psychopathology. Just as I leave it to you to explore the psychodynamics.
I ask only one thing from you: That is, to suspend any judgements which this book may evoke within you. Not least, because every person in this book is, to some extent, a victim. The only questions worth asking are Why? and How?
